Every morning, before my eyes open, I make a deal with myself.
It’s a negotiation that happens somewhere between the first tram passing under my house and my morning espresso, in that liminal space where I know that the city is all mine and the deal is always the same: I will put on my Asics and I will run. The variable is where and maybe even why.
